In this on-court clinic DVD former University of Wisconsin and St. Louis head coach Brad Soderberg touches on the six main points of the pack defense and demonstrates how to teach the major points of emphasis. The six points are: train team to convert defensively, defensive rebound, know how to defend the low post, know how to contain the basketball, learn how to defend screens, and put players in game-like defensive situations as often as possible. The ball must be pressured as hard as the ability of the on-ball defender allows and the other players must be inside the pack line. The main drill for teaching is 3-on-3 close-outs.
