Pro Trainer Trey Slate's Favorite Basketball Dribbling Drills with One Ball
This is a great stationary dribbling workout - do each drill for 30 seconds with a 30 second break after the last drill. 4 rounds for a total of 12 minutes.
V Dribble
In a triple threat stance, dribble the basketball with one hand back-and-forth in a "v" motion. Be sure to dribble with both hands.
2 Pound V Dribble Cross
In a triple threat stance, take 2 dribbles then v-dribble followed by a crossover to your other hand. Do the same thing in your other hand. You'll continuously do this move and go back and forth between hands.
Pound Between Cross x2
In a triple threat stance, take 1 dribble then go between your legs going the same direction then cross back over. You'll continuously do this move on one side so be sure to switch it up and work the other hand as well.
5 Pound Double Cross
In a triple threat stance, dribble the ball 5 times then crossover to your opposite hand then cross back. Dribble 5 times and do the same move again. You'll continuously do this move on one side so be sure to switch it up and work the other hand as well.
Pound 2x2x2
In a triple threat stance, you'll do a pattern of 2 v-dribbles, 2 between the legs, and 2 behind the back.
