Great 8s conditioning

Basketball Jump Rope

Jumping rope is key to any basketball player's development. Spend time with your jump rope and you'll improve your foot speed, quickness, agility, and conditioning. Ganon gives a lot of credit to the time he spent with a jump rope to making him Division I scholarship basketball player. This section includes 8 jump rope drills that will help you get the playing time you desire.

As an Undersized, you must be strong and have great balance. The second section of Conditioning will help you build your core, improve your balance, increase your flexibility. Later sections in the DVD cover Finishing at the basket and having a strong core is key to being able to take contact and still finish the play. The great thing about this section is that all you need is your basketball without any other equipment. Wait until you see Ganon do pushups using 4 basketballs! We mean Advanced when we say Advanced Basketball Training.

Great 8s can't have a great weak hand

Develop your Weak Hand Dribbling the Basketball

If you are going to truly unlock your potential as a basketball player, you must be great with either hand. That includes dribbling, passing, taking the ball to the basket, and finishing at the hoop. If you can use both hands equally, you will be virtually unstoppable. This section of the DVD addresses your weak hand - a topic many players choose to ignore. As an Undersized you can't ignore it. You must attack it!

Ganon Baker Passing the Basketball

Oh yes! You can practice and develop your passing skills by yourself. Become more valuable to your basketball team by being able to get the basketball to your teammates in the spot they want it and then they need it.

Great 8s Quick strong hands

Tennis Ball Basketball Dribbling Drills

Once you are ambidextrous, you need to keep working on developing quickness and strength in your hands. Ganon will show you how to have stronger and quicker hands. With his tennis ball drills, he'll challenge your quickness, coordination, and mental toughness. See if you have what it takes to master these drills as Ganon has.

Baker Speed

Experience "Baker Speed" throughout the DVD. Ganon has incredible quickness that you should strive to match in your basketball workouts.

Great 8s Separayte on drives

Take the basketball to the basket

If your an Undersized, you can't always be confrontational. You must be separational. In this section of the DVD Ganon will show how undersized players at the highest levels of basketball can still get to the basket and score.

Driving to the Basketball

With the Separating on the Drive drills, you'll be able to work on getting to what Ganon calls the "Kobe Kill Zones".

Great 8s Getting open

Moving Without the Basketball

What are you going to do when your an Undersized and the defense is smothering you and won't let you catch the ball? Ganon teaches you moves Earl Boykins and Steve Nash use to get open against bigger defenders. He'll also show you how to do these moves in a drill. You can practice getting open by yourself!

Get Open like Steve Nash

With the drills on the DVD, there is no need to do a separate conditioning workout. Just doing this workout will be all you need to become a top conditioned athlete.

Great 8s Greating space

Pivoting Basketball

If you want a chance, you need to change the defense's stance. You must be able to separate off the catch with both feet. Ganon covers the Inside and Outside Foot series. The Inside Foot series (aka Richard Hamilton Triple Threat series)will teach you to four ways to make your move to create space. Ganon teaches you when you need to use each of the four ways and incorporates each move into a drill.

Steve Nash Fade

The Outside Foot series (aka Kevin Garnett series) is used when the defenses closes out on you. There are four moves Ganon covers that will help you get to the basket, pass, or get your shot. Each move is explained and then incorporated into a drill.

Great 8s Finishing

Basketball Floater Shot

As an Undersized player you must be able to separate off the finish. This DVD chapter includes:

  1. Mid-Range
    1. 3 Step Strong
    2. 2 Step Weak
    3. Step Out
  2. NBA Triple Threat Game
  3. Around the Basket

    3. Step Through

NBA Triple Threat

As an Undersized, your likely not going to be throwing down on too many people. Ganon shows you how to keep the Defender-Body-Ball relationship in tact to finish in or around the basket. These moves are used by the top small players at the professional level. You must be able to get to the basket to score or pass for easy layups to be unstoppable.

Great 8s Student of the game

Student of the Game

This section of the DVD will show you how to study the game and become a smarter basketball player. Ganon will also teach you how to relieve defensive pressure in the Pressure Release Points section.

Student of the Game
