Kermit Davis shares 12 competitive rebounding drills that are designed to develop tough, physical, and competitive rebounding players and teams. Davis diagrams and demonstrates each drill using markerboard presentation and on-court demonstration. Emphasizing toughness and competition in every drill, he starts with a focus on form rebounding in 1-on-0, and 1-on-1 half-court scenarios, he then builds up to 3-on-3, and 5-on-4 full-court offensive and defensive transition rebounding. He teaches effective defensive perimeter rebounding by rebounding down" on jump shots and three-point attempts. Davis also incorporates conditioning using four heavy ball rebounding drills to develop strength, quickness, and endurance. Use these drills to out rebound the competition with a tough, physical, and aggressive rebounding team!
